Meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, at Palazzo Chigi today.
Numerous bilateral agreements were exchanged during the meeting, reflecting the will to enhance channels of dialogue and collaboration in all sectors of common interest, starting with security, and to continue strengthening cooperation with Central Asia.

Meeting with the Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America, Gina Raimondo, at Palazzo Chigi today.The meeting focused on discussing respective strategies and initiatives in technological and industrial areas of priority interest, starting with semiconductors and applications of artificial intelligence. Opportunities to strengthen mutual investments were also discussed. Lastly, the meeting provided an opportunity for an update on the main goals of the Italian G7 Presidency.

CIPESS meeting of 23 April 2024
A meeting of the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development (CIPESS) was held today, chaired by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, and with the CIPESS Secretary, Undersecretary of State Alessandro Morelli, in attendance. The meeting approved a number of proposals regarding cohesion policy and infrastructure.

Incontro con il Segretario al Commercio degli Stati Uniti d'America
Il Presidente Meloni ha ricevuto oggi a Palazzo Chigi il Segretario al Commercio degli Stati Uniti d'America, Gina Raimondo. Al centro del colloquio un confronto sulle rispettive strategie ed iniziative nei settori tecnologici ed industriali di prioritario interesse, a partire dai semiconduttori e dalle applicazioni dell’intelligenza artificiale.

Incontro con il Presidente della Repubblica del Tagikistan
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha ricevuto a Palazzo Chigi il Presidente della Repubblica del Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. Nel corso dell’incontro sono state scambiate numerose intese bilaterali, che testimoniano la volontà di approfondire i canali di dialogo e collaborazione in ogni settore di comune interesse, a partire dalla sicurezza, e di continuare a rafforzare la cooperazione con l’Asia Centrale.
